A busy two months...

Well, it's been two months since our last news update, and during those crazy months, we've been getting settled in the house, decorating, etc. Some highlights and lowlights (as pictured) include:
The girls' birthdays: Hannah turned 10, and Eva 9. The girls had a "family" party, a "friends" skating party, and then our little family celebrated each birthday on "the day."
Halloween: Hannah was Wednesday Addams (not a ghastly pilgrim), and Eva was a Skeleton Bride. Cousin Kady and Jesse once again joined us for Trick Or Treating... Jesse just couldn't resist paying a visit to Bob Goulet, which is the highlight of every Halloween evening for he and Rob. Mr. Goulet answers the door every year, this year he even gave us the score to the big Monday night game.
Crash: Yes, that's our Toyota van in the far-right photo. Patti was driving with the girls and her (8 months pregnant) friend Lisa and her daughter Haily, when a woman made a turn in front of her, too soon for Patti to stop, so she plowed into the woman's car. No one was seriously hurt, but Patti suffered a fracture in her right wrist, and is now in her very first cast. The woman was cited for not yeilding, and we are still working out all the insurance details, but the Toyota will need LOTS of work.
Hard to believe it's already mid-November, and the holidays are approaching quickly. We're looking forward to our first Christmas in the new house, and sharing this beautiful season with family and friends.
God bless...
