The Eye of the Hurricane
I guess if there's a 'center' to this whirlwind process of selling/buying+renovating a home, then we'd be in it right now. Our current home is cluttered with boxes, but looks increasingly lonelier as more photos and artwork come off the walls, shelves are emptied, mementos stuffed away.
The new house is a mess also. The only flooring that remains is old linoleum in the bathrooms and the old carpet upstairs. The rest of the floor is concrete. Tomorrow (later today really), the final stretch begins as the new flooring is installed and all the "little things" get finished up.
We move Tuesday, God willing.
This weekend Rob's band plays once again at the Blue Diamond Saloon, Friday the 26th, and Saturday the 27th, both nights 9 p.m. til 1 a.m. On our home page, the link "BAND" will take you to a schedule and map. Patti will be going Saturday night, hope to see some of you there!
